Rebecca Wood

Office Supervisor

Rebecca joined the Fifth Ave Physio team in October 2009 and is now the clinic's Office Supervisor. Rebecca graduated from Bowness High School and enjoys dancing, rollerblading by the river, horseback riding, and going for walks with her dog Tucker. Rebecca loves to sing and dance as made evident by 14 years studying ballet and 12 years in the Youth Singers of Calgary show choir. During that time she travelled to China, Europe, New York and Los Angeles for international competitions. Her love of travel has taken her to The Dominican Republic, Mexico and many destinations throughout Canada and the United States.

Alexe Bernier

Administrative Assistant

Alexe joined the Fifth Avenue Physio team in May of 2010. In addition to working at the clinic, she is also pursuing a BSc in Psychology at the University of Calgary. She was a highly competitive alpine ski racer for 9 years, which allowed her to travel to places like Austria, Switzerland, Chile and the United States for training. Her ski racing career ended at the age of 18 due to her desire to go to school. This upbringing in the sports community sparked a certain interest for travelling and continuing to stay active. Since ski racing, she has backpacked through 9 European countries, Guatemala, and Honduras. Whatever free time she gets in her busy schedule she spends skiing, hiking, or running.

Su-Ying Strang

Administrative Assistant

Su Ying graduated from the Alberta College of Art + Design in 2010 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, majoring in painting. She is very involved in the Calgary arts community and volunteers at many of Calgary's non-profit and public galleries. She is also the Volunteer Coordinator at Calgary's original artist-run centre, The New Gallery. Su Ying keeps up her personal painting and art practice as a member of a budding studio collective, The Bakery. During her free time, Su Ying can be found biking around Calgary and in her kitchen baking treats and feeding friends.
